About Laura

I am an incredibly blessed woman. I have been married to my husband Jeremy for 13 years. I am a mom of 6. I went to school for cosmetology and worked as a hairstylist before having children and becoming a stay at home mom. I love children, music, decorating, making my house a home, restyling, revamping, thrifting, rehabbing furniture and reading.

I am passionate about building others up so they can find freedom in Christ. I desire to help others to have a godly confidence, higher self esteem and to see themselves through God's eyes. It's so easy to put too much weight on what the world thinks.

My late teens and early adult life was far from exemplifying God's goodness. I didn't always make the greatest of choices. Wild may be an understatement, as I did not exactly embrace self control, and like most teens, seemed to think I was invincible.

I have struggled with anxiety and depression in various seasons of my life. God has brought me where I am today and has always been by my side through life's ups and downs. I strive to be an open book and let God use my life to help others know they are not alone. I love humor and think if more people were vulnerable, kind, less judgmental & honest with themselves & others, we'd have a lot less hostility amongst one another.

I am also a foster mom and adoption advocate.
